Overview of the Chapter:
In Chapter 6, "Agriculture and Rural Land Use," we discover the global agricultural regions, various agricultural models, agricultural revolutions, and vocabulary that help describe agriculture and how it works. We also discover how greatly agribusiness and GMOs affect agriculture. Von Thunen's model, showing the distance where farming becomes unprofitable, and the Koppen Climatic Classification System are introduced in this chapter as models of agriculture.
